Last year, a friend sent me a poem which he has not published anywhere. I decided to make him a book of the poem. My first attempt was very nice and started me on a few skills I was lacking, but it just didn't do it for me. I'll put pictures in Experiments when I find a copy. This version I liked. The poem invokes ancient philosophers and I wanted an antiquated feel, be a little rustic despite pretty sophisticated materials, and wanted it to feel good in the hand. Not sure I succeeded, but that actually also fits the subject of the poem very well.
